Virtual Academic Resources

MyREYNOLDS Resources

This is a single login to access your web-based Student Information System, Canvas, Navigate, and Student email accounts with only one username and password to remember. 

  • Student Information System (SIS) provides students with the ability to register for classes, pay tuition and fees, review financial aid, request a transcript, and view grades.
  • Canvas is the learning management system (LMS) used at Reynolds for online and traditional classroom instruction. Students are able to access course materials and grades and connect with Reynolds professors virtually.
  • Navigate can be used by students to register for classes, schedule appointments with an academic advisor and academic tutoring, manage reminders and more.
  • Gmail is the Reynolds student email account used by students after they register for classes. This email account is the preferred way to receive information from college announcements and events to financial information regarding tuition. This is also the email used between you and your instructor. 
  • Zoom All Reynolds students can access ZOOM though the MyReynolds portal on Reynolds.edu

ACCOMMODATIONS

For students seeking services through the Office of Accommodations, you may request services by one of the following ways:

  • Contact your counselor or accommodations specialist via the following confidential mechanisms:
  • email: Please send an email to OSA@Reynolds.edu and someone will respond to your email within 24 business hours from the time of your submission.
  • phone: Call the OSA office at Downtown Campus at 804- 523-5628 and the OSA office at Parham Road Campus at 804 – 523-5290 and someone will respond to your message within 24 business hours from the time of your submission.

ADVISING SERVICES

For students seeking advising services, you may receive services by one of the following ways:
  • email your assigned advisor directly at their college email address. You will receive a response within 24 business hours from the time of your submission.
  • email the general Advising Services office email account at Advising@Reynolds.edu. You will receive a response within 24 business hours from the time of your submission.
  • Call the main Advising Services number at 804-523-5359 and leave a message. You will receive a response within 24 business hours from the time of your message.
  • For current students, you can set up a phone appointment or virtual appointment via Zoom by going into Navigate and requesting an appointment with your assigned advisor. Click here for steps.

PAVE

For students in the PAVE program seeking assistance, you may receive services by one of the following means:

  • email: Please send an email to PAVE@Reynolds.edu and someone will respond to your email within 24 business hours from the time of your email.
  • phone:  Call the PAVE office at Downtown Campus at 804- 523-5772 and someone will respond to your message within 24 business hours from the time of your request. 

 
SOAR

For students seeking assistance with SOAR (Student Orientation and Registration), you may receive services by one of the following means:

  • email: Please send an email to SOAR@Reynolds.edu and someone will respond to your email within 24 business hours from the time of your email.
  • phone: Call the SOAR office at 804- 523-5155 and someone will respond to your message within 24 business hours from the time of your request.

 

Testing centers

Effective immediately until further notice, all college Testing Centers are closed. We will be checking our email and voicemail daily and will respond to messages email and phone messages.  You may contact us through the following ways:

  • email or phone: Please send an email or call depending on the campus and someone will respond to your message within one business day.

tutoring SERVICES

 Effective March 23, all academic tutoring has moved online for students. Students should request online tutoring appointments through Navigate. To access Navigate, login to your My Reynolds account. Check out the "Tutoring Appointment" video located on the Navigate Tutorials page to learn how to schedule a tutoring session. *Please note tutoring is not guaranteed for every subject and depends on the availability of tutors.*

For additional tutoring resources, check out the Brainfuse Online Tutoring page for more information. In addition to free tutoring, students are allotted up to 10 hours per semester of online tutoring from Brainfuse HelpNow. To access Brainfuse 24/7, login to your MyReynolds account and select Brainfuse from the MyReynolds main menu. You can also access Brainfuse from within your courses on Canvas.
