Easy Off-Campus Access to Library Databases JSRCC libraries provide access to a wide range of licensed databases (e.g., EBSCOhost Academic Search Complete, Factiva, Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, etc.) for JSRCC students, faculty, and staff. You can access these databases from an off-campus location (e.g., home, office, etc.) via an EZ proxy server.
When you are off-campus and click on any of the JSRCC Library databases (such as Academic Search Complete) listed under Research Databases on the library's web site at http://www.reynolds.edu/library, the following screen will appear:
Simply type in your My JSRCC login (your Blackboard username & password). You will then be connected to the database. If you don't know your username or have forgotten your password, simply click on Look up your username and set your password on the My JSRCC login screen at https://jsr.my.vccs.edu/jsp/home.jsp or go directly to https://jsr.my.vccs.edu/jsp/userconfig.jsp?action=reset.
New passwords must meet all the following requirements:
The username/password prompt will be requested once per session. Once validated, you can move between the databases without interruption. The validation will remain in effect until you exit your browser.
