Guaranteed Transfer

Welcome to the Transfer Events page.  Transfer Events, such as information sessions and transfer fairs, will be updated on this page.   

Virtual Transfer Office Hours will be held on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.  Please note that students may be in the zoom waiting room until a transfer advisor is available.  Dates:  December 1,  December 15.  Zoom meeting ID:  864 2180 6130.  

Join us for a 20 minute transfer presentation if you need general information about transfer degrees, the transfer process, specialty programs such as the Mellon Pathways program to VCU, and guaranteed admissions agreements.  There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation. These will be held on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Dates: December 1 and December 15.  Zoom meeting ID:  827 0622 2345. 

On-Campus Visits at Reynolds:

  • November 29:  VCU admissions representative, Alanna Johnson, will be in room 112 at the Downtown Campus between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • November 30:  VCU On-site Admissions for Spring 2022. Sign up for an appointment slot for the Parham Road Campus between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.  Sign up for an appointment for the Downtown Campus between 1 p.m. and 3:40 p.m.  Questions, please contact Alanna Johnson at
  • December 2:  VCU Admissions representative, Alanna Johnson, will be at the Parham Road Campus from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the lobby of Georgiadis Hall and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in 100 Georgiadis Hall.  If you have questions about transferring to VCU, stop by!
  • December 6:  Marymount University, DTC first floor lobby from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at the Parham Road Campus in the first floor lobby of Burnette Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Transfer Maps are available for Reynolds students.  They contain a recommended four year plan that outlines courses and requirements to be taken at Reynolds and at VCU.  

Mellon Pathways Program:  Interested in completing your bachelor's degree in the Arts or Humanities (English, Foreign Language, Mass Communications, Philosophy, Theatre, Religious Studies and more) at VCU?  The Mellon Pathways Program can provide you with support and resources for a smooth transition to VCU.  For more information, contact Mr. Paul Williams at  

STEM Advising:  Interested in the STEM Transitions program at VCU?  Contact Elizabeth Heck at  This is a program for students interested in completing their bachelor's degree in a math or natural science discipline.  

Prospective student transfer advising:  Students can request transfer advising from VCU by completing a Transfer Advising Request form which allows students to select their planned VCU major and start term, pick from FAQs and ask their own questions, and upload a PDF of their college transcript(s). The VCU transfer advisor for that major can then provide the student with the answers to their questions via email, Zoom appointment, or phone call.
