How Do I Prepare to be a Successful Digital Learner?
All students who are new to online learning at Reynolds are expected to complete the Orientation to Learning Online. To set up your Orientation account in Go2Reynolds:
- Click on Create Account
- Enter the required information
- Create your own password
- Locate the link for Orientation to Learning Online
- You can return to this account as often as you like to view all of the video options on the student dashboard.
Complete Orientation to Learning Online on your time. It helps you to understand how typical online classes are structured, paced, and facilitated. Students who successfully complete Orientation to Learning Online receive a "Certificate of Completion."
How Do I Take a Proctored Test?
Check out our Proctored Testing information to learn about all of the different options you have for online proctoring. In addition to testing at one of Reynolds' three Testing Centers, you can also have tests proctored at another Virginia Community College or at a college or university near you!
I'm in Need of Tutoring or Other Help to be Successful.
The college provides free tutoring in subjects like mathematics (basic math through Calculus), Accounting, Spanish, and Writing. Students are also allotted up to 5 hours per semester of online tutoring from Brainfuse. Access Brainfuse 24/7 through the MyReynolds or within your courses on Canvas.
Reynolds has a library of Student Success Workshops on a variety of topics such as time management, reducing test anxiety, etc. You can watch these 20 to 30 minute sessions from any computer and at any time of the day or night - they are available 24/7!
