On Saturday, April 15, Reynolds invited the Henrico community and beyond to Parham Road Campus to celebrate the college's fiftieth anniversary at 50Fest. More than 1,000 guests enjoyed the free, family-friendly, outdoor event that was put on in partnership with Henrico Recreation & Parks. Activities included live music, food trucks, inflatable amusements, face painting, balloon artist, raffles, interactive activities hosted by Reynolds faculty and staff, and a “touch-a-truck" area.
A brief program included remarks from Mr. Frank Thornton, chair of the Henrico County Board of Supervisors. Thornton detailed the long and fruitful relationship between Reynolds and Henrico County.
