Student Support Services provides lactation rooms for breastfeeding mothers to express milk for later use. The rooms are intended for use by mothers who have returned to work or are attending classes. The lactation rooms are located at:
- Downtown Campus: Room 242
- Parham Road Campus: Georgiadis Hall, Room 236
Lactation Room Procedures
- Students, faculty and staff who wish to have regular access should visit Student Support Services to receive an access sticker. This allows the individual to utilize the room any time they are on campus and the room is not occupied.
- The room will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
- When the room is in use, a sign must be placed on the door that says in use and the door should be locked.
- Individuals must bring their own equipment, and no items can be stored in the room.
- After use, all surfaces should be wiped down and the occupied sign replaced in the room.
- Once the lactation room is no longer needed, return the access sticker to Student Support Services. All access will be re-evaluated at the end of each semester.
