As we introduce Impact 2027, we proudly build upon the foundation of It's a New Day, our previous strategic plan that inspired and empowered Reynolds Community College to rise to new heights. The achievements of that plan have set the stage for the transformative journey ahead, as we continue to refine, evolve, and expand our vision for an even brighter future.

Impact 2027 is the product of deep commitment and collaboration. Over the past year, students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community stakeholders from across the Reynolds community came together to shape our path forward. Their collective insight and dedication are woven into every element of this plan, which outlines our vision for teaching and learning, student success, our community, and our people. These four pillars reflect our North Star, which defines Reynolds as a beacon of opportunity, igniting community vibrancy by empowering every student to realize their fullest potential. Through exceptional education, profound care, and strong partnerships, we will fuel the growth and prosperity of the greater Richmond region.

Our journey aligns seamlessly with Accelerate Opportunity (2024-2030), the statewide strategic plan for the Virginia Community College System, which aims to award 300,000 meaningful credentials across all regions through accelerated access and success for every student. In driving these four focus areas, Impact 2027 underscores our commitment not only to the individual student but to the greater goals of our community and the Commonwealth as a whole.

This strategic plan reaffirms Reynolds' role in creating pathways to success for everyone we serve. Together, we will forge these pathways with boldness, unity, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of education.
