Office of Student Accommodations (OSA) is committed to ensuring all students have an opportunity to pursue a college education regardless of the presence or absence of a disability. OSA makes reasonable accommodations in providing course, program, and building modification, and/or auxiliary aids and services in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008. No academically qualified student with a disability will be denied access to or participation in the services, programs, and activities of the College.

If you are new to Reynolds Community College, and not yet enrolled in classes, please use your personal email to communicate with the Office of Student Accommodations. Once you have enrolled in a class, you will have access to your Reynolds's Student email. OSA will contact you through your Reynold's student email account. Students Applying for Accommodations for the First Time
Please Note: The application must be complete in one seating, as it cannot be saved. To begin the application click the Application button below. As part of the application process, you will need to upload your supporting documentation (Documentation Guidelines) and meet with a counselor. “Examples of documentation include but are not limited to Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), 504 plan, psychological and/or educational evaluations, medical records or a letter(s) from a medical professional outlining your disability or medical condition.”
If you are already registered in a Reynolds Community College class, provide your Reynolds student email in the application. If you have not enrolled in classes, provide your personal email. A confirmation email will be sent upon completion.
Once you submit your application and meet with a counselor, you will be able to log into your account. To upload documentation at a later date, use the link provided in the confirmation email that you received after submitting your application. Check your emails regularly. If you do not receive a confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder. We cannot schedule an appointment to approve your accommodations until we have received supporting documentation of your disability.

Renewing Accommodations for Returning students
Students who had registered with us before but have not attended Reynolds in the last five (5) years.
All students must request their Faculty Notification Letters (FNL) every semester. Submit your request 24 hours or later after enrolling in at least one class by reaching out to OSA. Allow up to five (5) business days from your request for this process to be approved, but will generally be sooner.If there has been any changes to your disability or condition we would advise contacting our office.Review the Documentation Guidelines. Renewing Accommodations for Current Students
Students who have completed the intake with our office and will be in classes

Renewing Accommodations for Visiting and Consortium Students
A letter of accommodations from your home college should be sufficient documentation. During your intake appointment, the coordinator from the OSA will let you know if additional documentation is needed. Begin the application process by clicking the Application button below. After submitting your application, check your email for confirmation and further instructions.

New students should contact the OSA at least three weeks prior to the start of their first semester to begin the accommodation process to ensure a timely delivery of the service they are requesting for that academic semester. Accommodations require planning and preparation and begin at the time students present their Faculty Notification Letters (FNL) to their professors. Students need to become familiar with the process and the expectations in the college academic setting.College expectations will be different from the high school's expectations, please review High School to College Transitions.

Accommodations are provided each semester only at the request of the student prior to the start of that semester.
