Faculty & Staff Parking

Faculty & Staff Parking Deck
743 Navy Hill Drive
Richmond, Virginia 23219

Effective Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Navy Hill/Biotech parking deck Downtown will no longer be available for college use. Pre and post pandemic usage data has shown that the Navy Hill deck was significantly underutilized. Continued hybrid instruction and staggered telework days still contributes to the underutilization of both the Navy Hill and the Downtown Campus (DTC) parking decks.

What does this mean for those parking at the Downtown Campus?

Faculty and staff with a valid Reynolds ID are allowed to park in the deck at the DTC, along with currently enrolled Reynolds students. During special events, parking may not be available or when the deck is filled to capacity, faculty, staff and students can park on the street, in the VCU parking deck located on 8th Street directly across from Reynolds (if spaces are available), or any other public parking spaces. The college will reimburse parking fees paid during this time subject to the guidelines in the “How Do I Get Reimbursed” section below.

The college will communicate special events that may reduce parking in the deck. If the deck is full and space are unavailable, there will be signs displayed at the entrance and removed when parking spaces are available.

Where can I get a Reynolds ID?

  • Downtown Campus - 1st Floor Lobby
  • Goochland Campus – C-01
  • Parham Road Campus – Burnette Hall, Room 100

How do I get reimbursed?

Reimbursements are available if alternative parking was used due to unavailable parking in the deck. Reimbursements are not available if alternative parking was used as a convenience.

Reimbursements can be processed at any campus business office, which can be done in person or via email, with the proper documentation. A receipt is required along with the request form (15-0005). The maximum amount reimbursed is the amount paid on the receipt, not to exceed $20.

Submit email reimbursement requests along with the request form and receipt to businessoffice@reynolds.edu. The reimbursement check will be available for pickup at the requested business office location, or mailed within 72 hours, if requested.
