The Dual Enrollment Program is offered to high school juniors and seniors enrolled in one of the local participating schools. This program allows students to take college-level courses that fulfill both high school and college graduation requirements.

As part of the Governing Principles for Dual Enrollment, the Dual Enrollment Program at Reynolds Community College provides an opportunity for high school students to get a head start on college graduation. To apply, speak with a counselor at your high school and follow the 'Steps for Admission' directions for high school students.

Who can enroll?

Enrollment in this program is offered to high school juniors and seniors enrolled in a participating area high school. Please check with your school counselor to determine if there are Reynolds Dual Enrollment coursework options offered at your high school. 

How do I enroll?

The first step is to meet with your school counselor to discuss your dual enrollment options. Students must complete the Reynolds Community College online application. They must then submit two additional forms, the Dual Enrollment Course Request form and a Residency form.

What happens next?

Once the application has been processed, students will receive a Student ID number, a username, and password. Students should immediately log into their MyReynolds account with the username and password. Students will need the Student ID number to complete the Dual Enrollment forms.

All Dual Enrollment students must demonstrate college readiness in order to take any dual enrollment course. High School GPA is used to determine college readiness.

Additionally, students need to review the current course catalog to verify they meet the prerequisites for the desired course. Upon fulfilling the testing and prerequisites, students will be enrolled in selected classes by submitting their course request forms to their high school by the appropriate deadline.

Students and parents should speak with their high school counselor for approximate costs for courses.
