Reynolds is excited to announce the Flight Path Incentives program! Students in their first year at Reynolds can receive up to $500 for enrolling in their first Math and first English course. This program is designed to not only motivate students to take Math and English during the first year but also to complete their classes with a C grade or better.
Why? Because students who take these classes first and successfully complete them are 3x more likely to graduate on time!
Student Eligibility Requirements
- Must be taking their first class at Reynolds in fall 2024 or later (cannot have prior enrollment at the college)
- Must have attempted fewer than 24 credits at the Reynolds combined with transfer credits
- Must be in their first year of enrollment at the college (students are eligible the semester they enter, and the two subsequent semesters)
- Must not be a current dual enrollment student
- Must not have received transfer credit from another college or university for a college-level English and/or Math course
- Must not have already attempted or completed a college English and Math course
The following courses are eligible for the incentives program:
ENG 111, 112, or 137
MTH 111, 130, 131, 133, 154, 155, 161, 167, or 263
Eligible students will receive up to $250 per class. Half of the money is awarded after the class has started and the other half when the class is finished and a C or better grade is earned.

- Enroll in the English and/or Math class that is right for your program. Talk to an advisor if you need guidance.
- Sign-up for the Incentives program (a link will be sent to your Reynolds email after you have enrolled in your English and/or Math class.)
- Pay for your fall classes by the deadlines.
- Stay enrolled and study! Connect with Reynolds Tutoring Services if you need help with your class.
